New TPI 2073114 – Repair of GRP roof seal

< 1 min read

TPI 2073114 was released at the end of May 2024. In terms of content, the TPI deals with water ingress at the A-pillar caused by a defective roof seam.

As part of the warranty, the entire roof seal will be replaced if it comes loose from the roof or water ingress occurs.

The lack of an activator (Sika 100) was identified as a fault. This will be applied in the factory with immediate effect and should significantly increase durability. The sealing is complete and not just partial. Sikaflex 221 is used as a sealant.
