There is now great news for all Scandinavian travelers who have chosen the convenient method of paying tolls via their license plate.
Previously, it was necessary to have a BroBizz or comparable transponder to benefit from the discount scale on the Belt Bridge in Denmark.
You can now add a free discount contract for the Belt Bridge to your Öresund account.
The prerequisite for this is an active Öresund payment agreement via the license plate. Once you have activated the contract, you can use the license plate lanes and the following prices apply:
- Motorhomes up to 6 meters up to 3500KG = 196DKK
- Motorhomes over 6 meters up to 3500KG = 589DKK
- Motorhomes over 3500KG up to 10 meters = 589DKK
- Motorhomes over 3500 KG and over 10 meters = 936DKK
According to this list, a single, discounted crossing for a GC600 up to 3.5 tons costs 196DKK, about 25 euros. For a heavier GC600 or any GC680, regardless of weight, the price here is 589DKK, around 79 euros.
This step can only be welcomed, as an extra transponder is no longer required.
