Review – GC Adventure driver training April 2024

The time had finally come! After around six months of preparation, our second Grand California driver training course took place in Grevenbroich on the last weekend of April in cooperation with the ADAC. Nine participants from all corners of Germany got to know their Grand California and their own driving skills from a different perspective.

The training covered the following topics, among others:

  • Training of the emergency brake at different speeds
  • Training of the emergency brake on different road surfaces
  • Driving backwards slalom for optimal steering wheel control
  • Driving physics: tires, tire age, air pressure, load and center of gravity
  • Braking and avoiding electronically controlled water obstacles
  • Getting to know limit ranges in the curve (tilting moment)
  • Emergency braking in curves
Here you can find some impressions of the training.

After our first training session was not fully utilized, the demand for the second time was practically overwhelming. All the places were taken within a few hours.

We have therefore decided to offer you another training course. This is expected to take place in the fall. We will announce an exact date in the next few days. However, you already have the opportunity to be put on the waiting list. As soon as the date is fixed, we will first contact the people on the waiting list and ask them to take part. Only then will the free tickets go on sale.

Would you like to take part in our driver training in the fall? Then simply sign up for the waiting list, as soon as registration opens we will be the first to offer you a ticket. The allocation works according to the FIFO principle.
