Now after all – 4.25 tons with a class B driving license

Yesterday, the EU Parliament finally approved a proposal from the caravanning industry in its first reading on the driving license reform. Once the reform comes into force, it should be possible to drive motorhomes weighing up to 4.25 tons with a class B driving license, regardless of the type of drive.

Previously, the reform only provided for an increase in the weight limit for vehicles with alternative drive systems, such as electric or hydrogen cars.

The reform is to be adopted in July 2024.
