- Problem: Refrigerator cools too much, food freezes
- Cause: NTC sensor (temperature sensor) in the refrigerator defective
- Measure: Replace the sensor with OT number 7C4 919 378 A
Work steps according to TPI:
- Switch off the power in the rear cabinet
- Remove refrigerator (according to repair instructions)
- Pull out drawer
- Remove basket
- Removing the drip tray
- Remove screws in the freezer compartment
- Move the freezer compartment down and forwards
- Cut the cable tie on the sensor cable
- Remove the adhesive tape from the sensor
- Pull the sensor out of the seals
- Disconnect sensor electrically
- Pull the sensor out of the rear panel
- Install new sensor in reverse order
- Seal with the existing sealant and adhesive tape
- Mount the sensor in the designated position above the freezer compartment
- Fasten sensor cable with cable ties
- Switch on the power
Examination:
- Check NTC sensor after installation with ammeter (continuity and resistance at room temperature)
