We still have this protective film on our Grand California today, but almost six months later the effect is slowly wearing off and needs to be renewed. Especially in the fall and winter months, the vehicle paint is subjected to completely different stresses and strains; water and salt are not long in coming. In our search for a way to extend the protection of the ceramic sealant, we came across another product from the Meguiar’s Ceramic range.
Meguiar’s Hybrid Ceramic Spray Wax
The wax spray may be seen as a perfect complement to the above-mentioned sealant. Those who were already thrilled with the application of the sealant will definitely not be disappointed here. If you already have the sealant on your car, you can extend the protection in three simple steps.
1. wash vehicle
The first step is to wash the vehicle normally in a self-service car wash or similar.
2. apply spray wax
After the vehicle is clean, the application can begin directly. The spray wax is applied to the wet vehicle.
After the entire vehicle has been wetted, you can see a blue haze on the paint, no application time is required!
3. rinse off vehicle
The applied spray wax does not have to be elaborately distributed or polished in. The third and final step is to simply rinse off the wax with a pressure washer. The water jet spreads it over the entire vehicle, leaving a protective film that covers the entire surface.
How much does it cost? Where can I get it? Conclusion
If you use this product regularly, you will get a super sealant that will keep the roughest dirt off your paint. However, it is important to really use it in every washing process. One bottle lasts a maximum of two to three vehicle washes, so you have to budget about six euros per wash. Definitely a showstopper for many, but nothing replaces good car care. This not only preserves the value of the vehicle, but also the beautiful appearance of the paintwork.
