#2 Stave church Hahnenklee resin

Our #2 took us to the Harz Mountains. In the small village of Hahnenklee stands a very special church, the Gustav Adolf Stave Church, built in 1907. It is one of the most beautiful stave churches there is. Even non-churchgoers should not miss this building.

Right next to the church there is a free RV park with supply and disposal, so it doesn’t get any better than this. A trip to the Harz Mountains is not only worthwhile because of the church, in winter the toboggan runs in Hahnenklee and in summer the countless hiking trails attract visitors.

A perhaps inconspicuous but real “must see” in Germany. As with the bastion, the timing of the visit plays a decisive role here. We were on 25.12. there and there were already some motorhomes on the site, in the summer it will probably be difficult to find a place here, especially on weekends. If you have a seat and the weather plays along, then we can again recommend the golden hour to take photos of the church.
